2019 Coalition for Integrity’s Annual Integrity Awards Dinner

"

On Wednesday, October 30, 2019, the Coalition for Integrity held our Annual Integrity Awards Dinner.

We were proud to present U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley and U.S. Representative Carolyn Maloney with the 2019 Integrity Award for their decade-long fight for true beneficial ownership transparency.

“Whenever folks are allergic to basic transparency, something isn’t quite right,” said Senator Grassley in his remarks. “When we start to shine light on problems, that’s when we start to fix those problems.”

“This is one of the most pressing national security issues we face in this country,” said Representative Maloney, referring to beneficial ownership transparency.

C4I also presented a special award recognizing all whistleblowers. Our nation owes a debt of gratitude to those who expose and challenge corruption and impunity, often at great danger to themselves. We were delighted to have Tom Devine, legal director of the Government Accountability Project, accept the award on behalf of all whistleblowers.

FedEx Corporation was the recipient of this year’s Corporate Leadership Award for showing leadership in anti-corruption compliance and corporate social responsibility. We are pleased to have Mark Allen, Executive VP, General Counsel and Secretary of FedEx Corporation, accept the award.

As we celebrate our awardees, we recognize that our fight cannot be won by individuals. Only together can we achieve our full potential of eliminating corruption.

Above all we are grateful to all those who attended to show their support for the awardees and for our cause of combating corruption and raising integrity standards in the public and private sector.

Special thanks to our 2019 Integrity Awards Dinner sponsors – we are grateful for your support.
