Jess Unger is a Senior Program Officer at Coalition for Integrity. Prior to joining Coalition for Integrity, he was Associate Counsel & Fellow at the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. At Lawyers’ Committee, he performed litigation, organizing, and legal research work for the Voting Rights and Stop Hate projects. He was responsible for revisions to the organization’s informational guides on state voting law and field operations in Louisiana and Montana for Election Protection in 2016, and helped run national call center operations for Election Protection in 2017. He supervised the development of a 50-state resource guide on hate crimes and hate incidents and conducted outreach to community leaders and advocates in 11 states. He earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College. He is a member of the Virginia bar.
